Frostproof and Moore Haven squared off in some playoff action  on Friday, but Frostproof had to settle for second. They came up short against  the Terriers, falling  3-0. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
 Frostproof was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23,  25-18.
 Laney Cash paced Frostproof's offense, picking up 11 kills. Cash got some help from  Hannah Windham and her 11 assists.  Madison Dixon controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
 Moore Haven's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Kulipa Julian led the charge by  getting 19  digs and two  aces. Julian has been hot for a while, having  posted 11 or more  digs the last 11 times she's  played.  Trinity Guerry was another key player,  getting seven  digs and two  aces.
Frostproof's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Moore Haven, their victory was  their eighth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-10.
While Frostproof had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
