Baseball Game Preview: Forks Spartans vs. Sequim Wolves

Forks is 0-3 against Sequim since March of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Spartans are taking a road trip to challenge the Wolves at 4:15 p.m. Forks is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

While Forks' victory against Raymond/South Bend wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans had just enough and edged out the Ravens 6-5 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since April 17, 2025.

Meanwhile, Sequim lost 14-2 to Bainbridge on Thursday.

Forks' victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Sequim, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Forks might still be hurting after the 15-9 defeat they got from Sequim when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
