Basketball Recap: Midland Park Comes Up Short

If Midland Park was feeling good fresh off their 62-20 takedown of Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell 55-46 to the Eastern Christian Eagles on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 46-25 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Midland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Eastern Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Midland Park has already played their next matchup, a 44-35 victory against North Arlington on the 9th. As for Eastern Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-28 win against Passaic on the 7th.
