Baseball Recap: Lamar Comes Up Short

Lamar blew Haltom out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Haltom got their revenge. Lamar fell just short of Haltom by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Vikings have suffered since March 1st.

Lamar's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-11-2. As for Haltom, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.
