Baseball Recap: McNair Comes Up Short

McNair fell victim to Weston Ranch and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost six in a row.

McNair saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Manny Moreira, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases. Max Heung also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

McNair's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Weston Ranch, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McNair is set to face off against their familiar foe Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Weston Ranch will take on rival Chavez at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
