It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brushton-Moira had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers 8-7. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Flyers last Tuesday, they had to take a 13-9 loss.
Lillie Robideau spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and five unearned) runs on ten hits.
