Baseball Recap: Archbishop Williams Takes a Loss

Archbishop Williams came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the St. John Paul II Lions, falling 11-1. The Bishops were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Archbishop Williams has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for St. John Paul II, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Williams will take on Arlington Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. John Paul II, they will square off against Sandwich at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
