            Volleyball Recap: Millbury Woolies vs. Douglas Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Millbury had to endure  a  ten-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Douglas Tigers  on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Woolies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Millbury walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 19-25, 25-18,  25-16.
Millbury found their leader in sophomore  Hailey Delaney, who  had six  digs and five assists.

 Millbury  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 19  aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  ace total in three consecutive  matchups.
 Douglas' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Taylor Smith, who  had six  kills and six  digs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Adrianna Acosta, who  had three  aces and two  blocks.
Millbury's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
 Millbury wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  loss against Hudson on the 16th. As for Douglas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-2  defeat against Oxford on the 15th.
