Soccer Recap: East River Takes a Loss

East River fell victim to Innovation and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Innovation Bulls. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 398th, while the Bulls are ranked 80th).

East River's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Innovation, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

East River will be playing at home against Colonial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. East River is facing Colonial at the right time seeing as Colonial is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Innovation, they will head out to face off against Dr. Phillips at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both have allowed few goals on average, (Innovation: 0.2, Dr. Phillips: 0.5) so any goals scored will be well earned.
