Basketball Game Preview: Concord Christian Lions vs. Providence Academy

The Concord Christian Lions will take on Providence Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Concord Christian will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Tuesday, Concord Christian lost to King's Academy on the road by a 69-52 margin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence Academy). They claimed a resounding 85-30 win over Apostolic Christian Academy. Providence Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 28 points or more this season.

Providence Academy pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.4 points. As for Concord Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Concord Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Providence Academy in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 70-65 win.
