Baseball Preview: Wewoka Tigers vs. Okemah Panthers

The Wewoka Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Okemah Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Okemah took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Wewoka, who comes in off a win.

Wewoka has not done well against New Lima recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Wewoka won by a run and slipped past New Lima 11-10. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

Griffen Young was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also only allowed one walk).
