After a string of three wins, the Ridgevue Warhawks's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to Columbia. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ridgevue of the 49-37 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Tuesday.

Ridgevue's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mckenna Durrant, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Myra Martinez, who scored 16 points.

Ridgevue's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Columbia, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season.

Ridgevue does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Columbia also has no future games currently scheduled.
