Basketball Recap: North Stokes Starts Season with Loss at Home

North Stokes unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. The matchup between the Vikings and the West Davidson Dragons didn't end well, with the Vikings falling 71-52.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Stokes will challenge East Surry at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Davidson, they will venture away from home to challenge East Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dragons will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
