Soccer Recap: San Tan Foothills Comes Up Short

San Tan Foothills lost against Benjamin Franklin back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The San Tan Foothills Sabercats came up short against the Benjamin Franklin Chargers, falling 15-0. While losing is never fun, the Sabercats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while the Chargers are ranked 11th).

San Tan Foothills dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Benjamin Franklin, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-1-1.

San Tan Foothills will head out to square off against Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Benjamin Franklin has already played their next game (against Apache Junction), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
