Volleyball Recap: Northside - Pinetown Comes Up Short

Northside - Pinetown was the 3-1 winner over Lejeune when they last played one another on September 11th, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Devilpups by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Devilpups 25-21 in the first set.

Northside - Pinetown took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23, 15-5.

Northside - Pinetown's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Lejeune, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northside - Pinetown is set to square off against their familiar foe Pamlico County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lejeune will challenge rival East Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
