Volleyball Recap: Mercy McAuley Wolves vs. Seton Saints

Mercy McAuley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Seton Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Mercy McAuley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-11, 25-13.

Their offense was headlined by Sydney Bouldin and Macie Crawford, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Ava Thelen and her 16 assists.

Seton was led to victory by Kirsten Kemper and Penelope Reisman. Kemper had 18 assists and seven digs, while Reisman had 12 assists and seven digs. Kemper has been hot, having posted 15 or more assists the last eight times she's played.

Mercy McAuley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Seton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
