Carson extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Gabe Borst. The Senators claimed a resounding 80-50 win over the Hug Hawks with plenty of help from Borst, who went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points along with five assists and five boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Kylan Jackson was another key player, shooting 64% from the field on his way to 14 points. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played.

Hug's loss on Tuesday came despite strong showings from Jordan Vega and Eric Vargas. Vega went 6-for-15 to rack up 14 points and six rebounds, while Vargas posted 11 points. Elisha Loza also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Carson's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hug, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Carson has already played their next game, a 61-58 defeat against Rowland Hall on the 12th. Hug and Galena will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. The Hawks will be up against the Grizzlies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
