Recap: Arrupe Jesuit Generals vs. SkyView Academy Hawks
After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Arrupe Jesuit were a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell victim to a rough 14-2 loss at the hands of the SkyView Academy Hawks. Arrupe Jesuit was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as SkyView Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.
Arrupe Jesuit saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sebastian Robles, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
On SkyView Academy's side, they got a great performance from Tucker Corazzari as he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Sean Gustafson was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Gage Baumann was another key contributor, going 2-for-5 with four RBI and two runs.
Having lost for the first time this season, Arrupe Jesuit fell to 2-1.
Arrupe Jesuit will head out on the road to challenge Manual at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
