Baseball Recap: Redington Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Palmer

Redington faced Palmer in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Huskies lost 11-1 to the Moose. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Moose this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 last Wednesday.

Ikaia Flores was cooking despite his team's loss, earning one run and three stolen bases. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Redington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Palmer, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

Coincidentally, Redington and Palmer will both be playing Houston the next time they take the field. The Moose will head out to face the Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Huskies will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
