Soccer Recap: Jasper Takes a Loss

Jasper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in January.

Jasper's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Hardin-Jefferson, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jasper and Hardin-Jefferson will both be playing Silsbee the next time they take the pitch. Jasper will host Silsbee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Hardin-Jefferson will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on February 28th.
