Softball Recap: Port Barre Comes Up Short

Port Barre managed to slip by Erath the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Devils came up short against the Bobcats on Friday, falling 19-11. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Port Barre dropped their record down to 13-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Erath, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-17.

Port Barre has already played their next match (against Ville Platte), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Erath, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-4 victory against Patterson on the 14th.
