Cheyenne Mountain managed to slip by Lewis-Palmer the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red-Tailed Hawks lost 3-0 to the Rangers on Tuesday. The Red-Tailed Hawks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cheyenne Mountain took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-22.

Landry Roberts paced Cheyenne Mountain's offense, picking up 11 kills. Roberts got some help from Kaisa Dowd and her ten assists.

Lewis-Palmer can attribute much of their success to Cady Knight, who had 20 digs. Knight has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 14 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Maddie Unks, who had five digs and four aces.

Cheyenne Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Lewis-Palmer, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Cheyenne Mountain has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Discovery Canyon on the 9th. As for Lewis-Palmer, they will face off against Palmer Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
