There's no place like home for Baltic, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Elkton/Lake Benton Elks by the margin of a single free throw, 42-41. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Baltic to victory were Kellen Artz and Trevor Cuperus. Artz dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 rebounds, while Cuperus almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. Artz is becoming a predictor of Baltic's success: when he posts at least eight boards the team is 4-2 (and 4-5 when he doesn't).

Baltic now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Elkton/Lake Benton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.

Baltic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-40 victory against Canton on the 13th. As for Elkton/Lake Benton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-74 win against Estelline/Hendricks on the 13th.
