Soccer Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

River Valley lost against ALA - West Foothills back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The River Valley Dust Devils came up short against the ALA - West Foothills Guardians, falling 8-1. The Dust Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 6-0.

This is the second loss in a row for River Valley and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for ALA - West Foothills, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Holtville at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. River Valley is facing Holtville at the right time seeing as Holtville is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for ALA - West Foothills, they will challenge Odyssey Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. ALA - West Foothills will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
