Basketball Game Preview: Edinburgh Lancers vs. Hagerstown Tigers

After both having extra time off, the Edinburgh Lancers and the Hagerstown Tigers will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Edinburgh came up short against Hauser and fell 47-35.

Edinburgh might have lost, but man, Kenna Streeval was a machine: she posted 24 points along with six rebounds and six steals. That was a full 68.6% of Edinburgh's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, Hagerstown was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their 33rd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Centerville, falling 39-17.

Edinburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Hagerstown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Everything came up roses for Edinburgh against Hagerstown in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 55-27 win. Will Edinburgh repeat their success, or does Hagerstown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
