Branson Beal Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, Albany got the W thanks in part to Branson Beal playing the best football he has all season. Beal rushed for 144 yards and five touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Albany, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Beal will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Cross Plains on Friday.
