Football Recap: Sierra Grande Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sierra Grande can now relate to. They took a blow against the Idalia Wolves on Saturday, falling 56-7. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jadyn Martinez threw for 76 yards and one TD. Rolando Najera was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards and one score.

Idalia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kolby Morris led the charge by rushing for 70 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Morris has posted since back in August. Broderick Kite was another key passer, throwing for 40 yards and a pair of TDs.

Sierra Grande's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for Idalia, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Sierra Grande does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Idalia, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 52-0 victory against Peetz on the 22nd.
