Baseball Recap: Kimball's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Kimball ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Millennium Falcons 4-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

James Isler was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

The win got Kimball back to even at 4-4. As for Millennium, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

We've got a battle between Jaguars coming up. Gregori will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Kimball surely won't give up without a fight. As for Millennium, they will face off against West at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
