Softball Recap: North Hunterdon Takes a Loss

North Hunterdon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the DePaul Catholic Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since May 3, 2024.

North Hunterdon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for DePaul Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

North Hunterdon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for DePaul Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against West Milford on the 19th.
