Baseball Recap: Annapolis Panthers vs. North County Knights
Annapolis had lost six straight, but after bumping their record up to 5-8 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the North County Knights 11-2. The Panthers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st (when they won 16-1).

Ben Sale spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits. Annapolis is 2-1 when Sale allows two or fewer earned runs, but 3-7 otherwise.
At the plate, John Davis was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Daniel Capo, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
