Soccer Recap: Chancellor Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

While Chancellor's win against Eastern View wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers never let the Cyclones get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. Given Chancellor's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Eastern View are ranked 107th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chancellor pushed their record up to 6-0-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six matchups. As for Eastern View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That lines up perfectly with their 1-4-1 record this season.
