Buford waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Cheraw Braves with a sharp 3-0 win. The Yellow Jackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Braves, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Buford was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-14.

When it comes to explaining why Cheraw lost, don't look at Londyn Driggers. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs. Driggers is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Buford's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Cheraw, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Buford will head out to take on Parkwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cheraw, they will square off against Marlboro County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
