 Leland gave up the first  runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They blew past the Live Oak Acorns 11-4. That's more bragging rights for Leland, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Megan Lamy tossed a big game,   pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits.
 At the plate,  Hannah Ames was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with five  RBI, three  doubles,  and a  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Kaci Yoshioka-Wong, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 On Live Oak's side,  Eden Svoboda made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olivia Mixco, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Live Oak  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with eight  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Leland only tossed three.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Leland and  bumps their season record up to 10-5. As for Live Oak, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-10.
 Leland will be staying on the road  on Wednesday to face off against Branham at 4:00  p.m. Branham is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.3  runs per game  this season. As for Live Oak, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Gilroy at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Gilroy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8  runs per game  this season, so Live Oak's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
