Basketball Recap: Quinten Bull's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Burke over Philip

Burke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Philip Scotties, falling 62-39.

Burke's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quinten Bull, who went 6-for-11 en route to 12 points and eight boards. Elijah Bartling was another key player, putting up seven points and four steals.

Burke's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Philip, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.

Burke didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-45 defeat against Bon Homme on the 11th. As for Philip, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 68-44 loss against Lyman on the 13th.
