Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scottsdale Christian Academy). They blew past the Fountain Hills Falcons 63-3 on Friday. The Eagles' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Sean Helgeson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 265 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 161.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Everett Salazar helped Helgeson out on the ground, rushing for 76 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries.

Another reason for the win was Scottsdale Christian Academy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Salazar and Martin Perez, who each picked up one sack apiece. Scottsdale Christian Academy received some extra help from Luke White, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's record now sits at 5-0. As for Fountain Hills, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Scottsdale Christian Academy will challenge Chino Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. As for Fountain Hills, they will face off against Bourgade Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
