 It was a good run, but  Land O' Lakes unfortunately witnessed the end of their  ten-game winning streak on Thursday. They took  a  5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the River Ridge Royal Knights. Land O' Lakes was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as River Ridge apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  two weeks ago.
  Zachary Kelly was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over 5.2 innings pitched.
 At the plate, Land O' Lakes saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Santi Busot, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 On River Ridge's side,  Carson Cooley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up six Ks.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Anthony Gualemi, who  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI.

 Land O' Lakes will be playing in front of their home fans against Zephyrhills at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Zephyrhills hasn't scored more than two runs for nine games straight, a trend the  team is eager to reverse. As for River Ridge, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against East Lake at 7:00  p.m. River Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.7  runs per game this season.
