Football Game Preview: Tennyson Lancers vs. Berkeley Yellowjackets + How To Watch

The Tennyson Lancers will face off against the Berkeley Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Tennyson is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They fell 42-35 to Castro Valley. Even if the Lancers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, Berkeley didn't have quite enough to beat Castro Valley last Friday and fell 41-38.

Tennyson will need to focus on slowing down CHRISTOPHER DEVITO, one of several Berkeley players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 222 yards and four TDs. Berkeley's leading receiver DAILEN CLARK was DEVITO's top target yet again, picking up 108 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Berkeley's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Tennyson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Tennyson suffered a grim 29-6 defeat to Berkeley in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Yellowjackets' IDAN WADE-CURIEL, who threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes.
