It was a good run, but Hockinson unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Columbia River Rapids by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Columbia River this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in March.

Hockinson's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Columbia River, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hockinson will face off against rival Hudson's Bay at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Columbia River is set to take on their familiar foe R.A. Long at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Columbia River have won six straight at home, while R.A. Long won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
