Softball Recap: Concord Gets the Win

Concord put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bradford Eagles a 4-0 shutout. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Bradford, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord will host Cotter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bradford, they will challenge West Side at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
