Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy). They walked away with a 16-12 win over the Line Mountain Eagles on Friday. With that victory, the WolfPack brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Cameron Guss was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Charles Ramos was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

The win snapped Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-8 record. As for Line Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy will host Upper Dauphin Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Line Mountain, they will be playing at home against Juniata at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.92 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
