Volleyball Recap: Druid Hills Takes a Loss

Druid Hills lost against Brookwood back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Devils fell 2-0 to the Broncos. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Druid Hills was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23.

Sylvia Hess paced Druid Hills' offense, picking up five kills. Hess got some help from Kassidy Manning and her eight assists.

Druid Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Brookwood, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Druid Hills and Brookwood will both be playing Lakeside the next time they take the court. The Red Devils will head out to face the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Broncos will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
