Ansley/Litchfield extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Luke Bailey. The Ansley/Litchfield Spartans had just enough and edged out the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs 54-51 which was due in part to Bailey, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 boards. His big performance that evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

When it comes to explaining why Sumner-Eddyville-Miller lost on Thursday, don't look at Chance Daake. Despite the final result, he posted 17 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. That's the most points Daake has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cohen Rohde, who put up ten points.

Ansley/Litchfield has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
