Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kalexiana Wrest and Nevaeh Parish Lead Madison to Victory

Madison won the last time they faced Britton Deerfield and things went their way on Monday too. The Madison Trojans blew past the Britton Deerfield Patriots 54-30. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Patriots are ranked 587th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Madison to victory were Nevaeh Parish and Kalexiana Wrest. Parish posted 11 points and seven steals, while Wrest went 5-for-8 on her way to 14 points. Parish is becoming a predictor of Madison's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is 12-1 (and 1-3 when she doesn't). Jaeda Parish was another key player, putting up six points and seven assists.
