Soccer Game Preview: Jupiter vs. Archbishop McCarthy + Official Tickets

The Jupiter Warriors will head out to face off against the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jupiter is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Jupiter had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Seminole Ridge on Thursday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Hawks. Jupiter might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by six goals or more this season.

They hit Seminole Ridge with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Annie Bills (2), Valentina Vryonides (2), Hannah Sawyer, and Reese Dougherty.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Archbishop McCarthy was forced to settle for a draw. They and Cardinal Gibbons finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday. There's a chance things could've gone differently had Archbishop McCarthy not been charged with a red card from Blaire Gordon.

Archbishop McCarthy's draw makes their record 4-0-1 this season. As for Jupiter, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Jupiter beat Archbishop McCarthy 2-0 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
