Volleyball Game Preview: Franklin Panthers vs. Eagle Rock Eagles

Franklin hasn't had much luck against Eagle Rock recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Franklin challenged Lincoln on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Eagle Rock came up short against Venice on Friday and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Gondoliers: they've now lost six in a row.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Eagle Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

Franklin might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Eagle Rock in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
