Basketball Recap: Lakewood Presbyterian Takes a Loss

Lakewood Presbyterian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 52-20 defeat at the hands of the DasCHE Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1425th, while the Spartans are ranked 628th).

Despite the loss, Lakewood Presbyterian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zoeh Kinson posted eight points along with ten rebounds and three blocks. Kinson has been hot, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times she's played.

Lakewood Presbyterian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for DasCHE, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.
