Copper Hills had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt Murray on Thursday. The Grizzlies never let the Spartans get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Copper Hills also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Their offense was hitting Murray from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Josephine Cannon led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Copper Hills' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Copper Hills is taking a road trip to challenge Spanish Fork at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Murray, they will take on Cedar at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
