Basketball Recap: The Woodlands Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact The Woodlands can now relate to. They fell 47-36 to the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Panthers and Pantherettes are ranked fourth).

The Woodlands' loss dropped their record down to 24-11. As for Duncanville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 29-6 record this season.

As of now, neither The Woodlands nor Duncanville have any future games scheduled.
