Volleyball Recap: Blair Oaks Falcons vs. Hallsville Indians

After losing to Hallsville the last time they met, Blair Oaks decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blair Oaks Falcons had just enough and edged the Hallsville Indians out 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Blair Oaks wouldn't go down easily and took Hallsville into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 26-28, 22-25, 15-10.

Blair Oaks was led to victory by Anna Prenger and Mallory Strope. Prenger had six digs and two aces, while Strope had 19 digs, ten kills, five aces, and a block. Those five aces gave Strope a new career-high.

Blair Oaks was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hallsville only served six.

Blair Oaks' victory bumped their record up to 16-18. As for Hallsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-13-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Blair Oaks nor Hallsville have any future games scheduled.
