Soccer Recap: Rich Township Takes a Loss

Rich Township's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to the Crete-Monee Warriors. Rich Township were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Crete-Monee earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Rich Township's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Crete-Monee, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 7-11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Rich Township will face off against Homewood-Flossmoor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Crete-Monee, they will square off against Joliet Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
